Our firm, The Law Office of Tina Budzisz LLC, specializes in Veterans' benefits law and appeals with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Board of Veterans Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC). With years of experience as a Decision Writing Attorney at the Board of Veterans' Appeals, Tina navigates the complex VA legal systems to advocate for our clients effectively and efficiently.
After spending the last two years and several months as a Decision Writing Attorney at the Board of Veterans' Appeals, Tina, believing she could help more Veterans in private practice, opened The Law Office of Tina Budzisz LLC in October 2025.
Tina is a Veteran of the United States Navy where she served honorably as a cryptologist from 1986 through 1990. After leaving the service, she worked for numerous law firms and federal agencies, including the United States Secret Service and Federal Public Defender, as a trial paralegal before and during law school.
Tina graduated from Stetson University College of Law in December 2020; sat for the Florida bar exam in February 2021; and became barred in Florida in June 2021. Tina is also barred in Wisconsin (2025) and admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (2025) and the Supreme Court of the United States (2024).
Following law school, Tina became an Adjunct Professor at Stetson College of Law as well as an Assistant Federal Defender with the Federal Defender for the Middle District of Florida. As an Assistant Federal Defender, she honed her advocacy skills while representing indigent and marginalized individuals - several of which were Veterans.
In 2023 Tina joined the Board of Veterans' Appeals as a Decision Writing Attorney where she reviewed hundreds of appeals and drafted decisions for her Veteran Law Judge's signature. During her time at the Board, Tina earned the reputation of being an exceptional writer who always adhered to a Veteran-centric philosophy by reviewing every single page of the claims file to ensure the Veteran's claims were properly addressed with respect and empathy towards the Veteran.
Tina is an accredited VA attorney, a member of the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates (NOVA), and a member of the America Bar Association.
The Law Office of Tina Budzisz LLC represents Veterans in all phases from the initial filing of a claim for benefits through, if necessary, the appeals process until the Veteran has received the benefits they are entitled to receive. We are well versed in little niche areas such as Reservist and National Guard claims as well as MST, TDIU, PTSD, and OSI to name a few.
Tina's philosophy includes working closely with her clients, VSOs and VA appeals counsel while utilizing her experience at the Board of Veterans' Appeals and expertise in Veterans' law to develop and execute the most effective strategy for each case.
We love our clients, feel free to call us at any time during our normal business hours.
